See video

The Commission of Deaf, Deaf-blind and Hard of Hearing Minnesotans (MCDHH) is supporting a bill which will help provide Medicaid coverage for out-of-state inpatient mental health treatment for children who are deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing. Minnesota does not offer such a facility that has qualified professional mental health staff who are fluent in American Sign Language.

There will be hearing at the MN Capitol on this bill on Wedsnesday, February 29th. For more information, including bill information, transcript, and how to take action regarding this, please see the MCDHH page on the bill
