I was the interpreter. A funny (er, not so funny to me) part of the back-story here was that I thought we were posing for a still photograph. The videographer called me over to stand next to this Obama staffer and I stood there smiling and posing. Suddenly the staffer started talking and I realized that we were being videotaped and that I was supposed to interpret. I tried to stop the process to get oriented, but no go. On with the show! Yikes. Don't let this happen to you! :-)

No republican staffers were present at that debate except for Emory Dively representing his own candidacy.
